Paying for Facebook ads in Nigeria no longer need a domiciliary account, or neither do you need to go the extra mile of getting a MasterCard before your accounts can be promoted online.
Just recently, we helped a client pay for her ads on Facebook, and guess what. I only made use of my Diamond Bank Visa Debit Card (ATM Card)
In this post, I will teach you how to go about that, without any trouble
Let’s Get Started
Sign in to your Facebook account.
Go to your Facebook Ads Manager payment methods page and click on “Add Money“.
Select “Naira Payment With Mastercard and Visa – PayU”.
Enter amount you want to add to your Facebook ads account and click “Review Payment”.
Click “Make Payment”.
When this PayU page shows, click “continue“.
After the processes above, you will be redirected to a page where you will be asked to enter the details of your Mastercard or Visa card. Enter the card details and click “Pay”.
Chose Your OTP Method
You will then have to choose the method you which to receive OTP; select the option to confirm you accept terms and click “Submit”. Enter your OTP and click “Submit”.
If all the things went well, you will see the message “your transaction was successful“ that your PayU Facebook Ads has been accepted to run in Naira
Now, you can go to the billings section of the Facebook ads manager to check Naira balance of your Facebook Ads account.
Remember the Verve Cards are not accepted for Facebook Ads in any sense
NB: Your Facebook account must have Naira as the billing currency. Without that, your ads account may not accept payment in Naira.
